Big Spring State Park “View the Moon”

The Big Spring State Park will host “View The Moon” on Friday from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, focusing on the moon in its first-quarter phase. The community is invited to enjoy close-up views of moon craters, play moon trivia, and learn about moon phases. The activity will take about 15 minutes, but attendees can stay as long as they like. The event is free and will be held near the Headquarters building, where a ranger and telescope will be available. Parking is available in front of the Headquarters building and by the playground. The program will be outdoors and may be canceled in case of inclement weather.
