Big Spring State Park: View the Moon

The Big Spring State Park will host an event focused on the moon on June 14th from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. During “View The Moon,” the moon will be in its first-quarter phase. The community is invited to come by to get an up-close look at moon craters, play moon trivia, and learn about moon phases. This activity will take about 15 minutes, but you can stay as long as you like. The event is free and will take place near the Headquarters building. Look for the ranger and telescope. Parking is available in front of the Headquarters building and by the playground. The program will be held outdoors and may be canceled in case of inclement weather.
