Mental Health Awareness Month: West Texas Centers

West Texas Centers is marking Mental Health Awareness Month by highlighting the array of resources available to residents across their expansive 23-county region.

With 15 Mental Health Clinics in operation, West Texas Centers offers mental health and substance use disorder services to individuals throughout the area, including those who are homeless or without a permanent address.

“Our clinics, staffed by a dedicated team of professionals, provide care not only to individuals facing mental health challenges but also to their support networks,” stated Shelley Smith, LMSW, CEO of West Texas Centers.

Covering Andrews, Borden, Crane, Dawson, Fisher, Gaines, Garza, Glasscock, Howard, Kent, Loving, Martin, Mitchell, Nolan, Reeves, Runnels, Scurry, Terrell, Terry, Upton, Ward, Winkler, and Yoakum counties, West Texas Centers serves as the designated Mental Health Authority for these rural West Texas communities.
